ACADEMIC DECATHLON

All Souls participates in the Archdiocesan Junior High Academic Decathlon. This is a competition for students in grades 6-8. Students compete against over 100 schools from within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. There are collaborative team efforts: a logic quiz with 20 rigorous thinking problems and a super-quiz with 50 multiple choice questions on five broad academic themes. The remaining eight events test individual knowledge of religion, English, literature, science, math, current events, art and music. 

LEGO ROBOTICS

Get ready for robotics! LIFT Enrichment’s signature Lego Robotics program takes students through a science-filled adventure where they will build incredible robots with Legos, create a computer program that brings them to life, and have FUN! This session features all NEW robots including the Color Catapult, which uses a sensor to detect different color balls and then launches them and the Alpha Rex, 12” tall bi-pedal walking robot.
