What is distance learning?
Distance learning is a way of learning remotely without being in regular face-to-face contact with a teacher in the classroom. Studying/learning/teaching takes place in a variety of ways via correspondence over the Internet. This is done so that students do not need to physically attend school but can still gain the knowledge and skills necessary to master the grade level standards.
